Terms of Service

Welcome to FDL Findlay Concrete. By using our website and services, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging with us.

Services Provided

FDL Findlay Concrete offers professional concrete installation, repair, and maintenance services for residential and commercial properties. Our services include driveways, patios, foundations, stamped concrete, concrete leveling, and related concrete work. All services are performed by qualified professionals using quality materials and industry-standard practices.

Specific details of each project, including scope of work, timeline, materials, and pricing, will be outlined in a written estimate provided before work begins. The estimate becomes a binding agreement once accepted by the customer.

Estimates and Pricing

We provide free estimates for all projects. Estimates are based on the information available at the time of the site visit and are valid for 30 days. Prices may change if project scope, site conditions, or material costs change significantly.

Payment terms will be specified in your project estimate. We typically require a deposit before work begins, with the balance due upon completion. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Any changes to the original scope of work must be approved in writing and may result in additional charges.

Customer Responsibilities

You are responsible for ensuring that our crew has clear access to the work area. This includes removing vehicles, outdoor furniture, and any other obstacles. You must also ensure that any necessary permits are obtained before work begins, unless otherwise agreed upon in the estimate.

If underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other hidden structures are present, you must notify us before work begins. We recommend contacting your local utility locating service to mark underground lines. We are not responsible for damage to unmarked utilities or structures.

Warranty and Guarantees

We stand behind the quality of our work. Workmanship is guaranteed for one year from the date of completion. This warranty covers defects in installation, such as improper mixing, finishing errors, or structural failures caused by our work.

The warranty does not cover damage caused by improper use, failure to follow maintenance instructions, acts of nature, soil settling, tree roots, or alterations made by others. Cosmetic issues such as minor color variations, surface crazing, or small hairline cracks are normal characteristics of concrete and are not covered.

Cancellations and Delays

If you need to cancel or reschedule your project, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less notice may result in forfeiture of your deposit to cover materials already ordered and scheduling losses.

We will make every effort to complete your project on time. However, delays caused by weather, material shortages, or other factors beyond our control may occur. We will keep you informed of any schedule changes and work with you to minimize inconvenience.

Liability and Insurance

FDL Findlay Concrete carries comprehensive general liability insurance and workers compensation coverage. We are responsible for any damage to your property caused by our negligence during the project. However, we are not liable for damage to existing structures, landscaping, or utilities that were not properly marked or disclosed.

Our liability is limited to the total amount paid for the project. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost use, or other incidental costs.

Dispute Resolution

If any dispute arises regarding our services, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve the matter. Most issues can be addressed through open communication and a mutual understanding of expectations.

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in the appropriate courts of Hancock County, Ohio, and will be governed by Ohio state law.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms of service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with the effective date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically to stay informed of any updates.
